This sculpture illustrates three million years of human evolution. The flint representing both the brain and the first tools used by Homo Habilis, rests on a slate block symbolising construction. Capping the whole piece, a series of titanium blades from the compressor of the SafranM88 engine from the Rafale Jet plane symbolising the human dream of flight.
